Biographical Info
 

 I am originally from Calgary Alberta, where I attended the Alberta College of Art and Design. While studying as a Drawing Major at ACAD I learned numerous technical and conceptual disciplines which I have carried over into an interdisciplinary practice with a strong conceptual basis. Before moving to Toronto to work on my Master’s Degree, I was heavily involved in the Calgary Artist-Run Community.

President, Untitled Art Society (Formerly Vice-President)

​2012 - 2014

From March 2013 until September 2014 I served as the President of the Board for Untitled Art Society, a Calgary based Artist-Run Centre. Before that I served as Vice-President, beginning in December of 2012. As President I was responsible for directing the policies and creative direction of UAS, as well as ensuring its financial well-being and the smooth operation of its board of Directors and employees. I also served as a liaison to other arts organizations and to the city.

Executive Board Member, Intersite Festival of Visual Arts

​2013

Founding Member of the Board of the Intersite Visual Arts Festival, a now annual event which was launched in Calgary in September of 2013. The festival includes special programming from Calgary’s Artist Run Centres as well as the Epcor Centre for Performing Arts.

Solo exhibition from January 12 to March 31, 2013 at the Epcor Centre for the Performing Arts. An installation sculpture filling two adjoining display windows in the main lobby of the Max Bell Theatre.

Calgary Biennial of Contemporary Art

​2012

 September 8 to 29, 2012 at various galleries within the city. A group exhibition celebrating the Calgary Biennial, themed upon the idea of “Home.” Exhibited a digital work online at The #000000 Gallery (the Black Gallery).

Artcity Festival

2011

September 9 to 17, 2011 at locations throughout the city. Created a collaborative series of art books with artist Tiffany Eng, and distributed them in galleries, shops and outdoor locations within Calgary. Operated in conjunction with 14 other artists, who created outdoor and performative artworks on the subjects of City and Rebirth.
